About the Speakers
Kate Danser, PHR, SHRM-CP, is Director of Human Resources at Princeton University Press. As an HR leader, she is dedicated to employee engagement, continuous improvement, and fostering an organizational culture defined by creative and constructive collaborations, equity and inclusion, and mutual respect.
At Princeton University Press, she is a member of the senior management team and oversees all HR initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and goals. Her specialities include: employee and candidate engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, equity and inclusion, HRIS, conflict resolution, total rewards, organizational development, and change management.
Randy Petway is Director, Talent Solutions, at LinkedIn. Working at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation to help companies overcome significant operational challenges, reach ambitious growth goals, and navigate the constantly changing digital world, he has built and lead sales, business development, product/solutions, consulting, technology, and delivery teams that have executed transformative engagements with some of the largest and best-known brands in the media, entertainment, information services, and technology space.
Prior to joining LinkedIn, Randy has help leadership positions at a number of technology and media companies, including Virtusa and Ingenta, and he serves on the advisory board for rasa.io, providing thought leadership and strategy to support its business objectives.
Andrea Weinzimer is the SVP of Human Resources for Hachette Book Group, Inc., and serves as a member of the Executive Management Board. Andrea originally joined the company in 2001 when it was a part of Time Warner. In 2006, when the Company was purchased by Hachette Livre, she helped manage the transition to new ownership.
During her tenure, it has been named a Best Company to Work for by Crain’s New York Business for three consecutive years (2009 – 2011).
Andrea is a member of the American Association of Publishers (AAP) Compensation Committee and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She received an award from the 5 O’Clock Club for her outstanding compassion and decency to employees.
Prior to joining the Hachette Book Group, Andrea’s previous work experience includes positions within the Investment Industry, Advertising and a Legal Information Services firm. She has worked as an independent consultant providing HR services to a diverse group of clients.
