At 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 13, BISG will offer a webinar regarding publishing in the higher education and K-12 sectors. The webinar will feature a special presentation of the National Association of College Stores’ (NACS) annual "Student Watch" report on student attitudes and behaviors toward course materials. The webinar will also feature information regarding current trends in U.S. K-12 and higher education, federal and state funding levels, and the re-opening of colleges and schools this fall.
The webinar will feature three expert speakers:
Richard Hershman is vice president of government relations at NACS. Previously he served as vice president of legislative affairs for the National Education Knowledge Industry Association.
Brittany Conley is the research analyst at OnCampus Research, the research division of NACS. Conley joined NACS in 2016 and manages the "Student Watch" and "Faculty Watch" studies.
Jay Diskey is principal of Diskey Public Affairs LLC, which provides services in education policy and publishing. Diskey previously served as executive director of the Association of American Publishers’ education division. Earlier, he held senior positions at the U.S. Department of Education and on Capitol Hill.
We hope you will join their discussion at 1 p.m. ET on August 13. Webinar sessions are always recorded and archived on the BISG website for those who are unable to attend live. These webinars are hour-long sessions that can be shared with colleagues and friends. You can register on the GoToWebinar platform using this link.
