BookOps is a pioneering collaboration between The New York Public Library and Brooklyn Public Library that makes it possible for essential materials and resources to be available and delivered quickly and efficiently to millions of users across New York City. Based in Long Island City, Queens, and comprised of nearly 200 staff members, the BookOps team serves as the center of collections development and distribution for both library systems, from initial item selection to continuous circulation throughout the neighborhood branches.

They have generously invited active BISG volunteers to visit their facility for a tour on Friday, September 20. You must be a member of BISG to register for this event—please log in to register. We hope you can join us! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to BISG Operations Manager Brooke Horn via brooke@bisg.org.
