The Updated Guide to Fixed-Layout for Ebooks

First published in 2013, BISG's Field Guide to Fixed Layout for Ebooks has been revised and updated to include current information about best practices in the creation and management of fixed-layout formats. The new version, numbered 2.0, was created by BISG's workflow committee. It builds on work done by its predecessor, BISG's content structure committee.
The new version contains changes throughout the document, which covers how to create a fixed-layout publication, synching text and audio, managing interactivity and the use of Javascript, and authoring tools. New or enhanced sections address accessibility and retailer (platform) standards that will help publishers understand what fixed-layout features may be supported at various outlets.
Join this webinar to learn about the contents of the Field Guide to Fixed Layout for Ebooks, understand what's new and updated in version 2.0, and ask questions of committee members who worked on the update. The session is scheduled for 30 minutes, including questions from those attending.
