Publishers & Printers: Moving from Vendor-Client to Business Partners

A Supply Chain Lunch & Learn

Tuesday, June 4, 2024
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (EDT)
This event will be held via Zoom.
Category: Supply Chain Lunch & Learn Series

Forecasting demand, planning capacity, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders all require close and regular engagement between publishers and their manufacturing partners. In this session, Jeff Tolsma of Baker Books joins Tom Frank of Versa Press to talk about how they work together and what it took for them to get to an effective partnership. They'll share thoughts on how publishers and printers can move from a "vendor-client" mindset to one of true and effective partnership, where both sides of the relationship get what they need to succeed and grow.

Lunch & Learns are always highly interactive, so you'll have a chance to contribute at the session even if you don't send a question in advance. To allow participants to speak—and not just type questions—these sessions are conducted in a Zoom meeting (rather than webinar) format. Please take a moment to ensure that your microphone is muted until you'd like to contribute. While we encourage you to attend the live session, the conversation will be recorded and shared with registrants after the session takes place.
